Museum Studies Summer Internship

The Rubell Museum’s Museum Studies Internship program, made possible with support from the Knight Foundation and Miami-Dade County, is designed to give students an introduction to the inner workings of a contemporary art museum. Interns will shadow staff in different museum departments, conduct research on artworks in the collection, prepare presentations for the internship supervisors, and lead daily guided tours for visitors. Additionally, weekly site visits will be incorporated into the program for interns to learn from local artists and arts professionals throughout the city.

The Museum Studies Internship is offered every summer at the Rubell Museum Miami during June and July.Applications for the 2026 internship will open in March.
