Visitor Guidelines
• Due to a high volume of visitors, we strongly prefer that all tickets, including all free admission or DC resident tickets be reserved online in advance. Valid ID or proof of residency must be presented in person upon check-in at the museum. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the museum's front desk.
• Become a member to enjoy free admission for the entire year.
• Visitors showing signs of illness at any time will be asked to return at a later date.
• Social distancing is required and will be enforced; parties may remain together; children must stay with adults at all times.
• Credit or debit cards only; no cash accepted for any on-site purchases.
• Self check lockers are available.
• Food and drink are not permitted inside the museum; drinking fountains are available.
• An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is extremely contagious.
• In the interest of your personal safety and community health, please observe all the precautions listed above.

For visitors who choose to drive, please follow parking signage and regulations and avoid parking on-street in residential permit parking zones. There is no on-site parking available.
Visitors should ask museum staff for transportation information.
